Community Involvement

In her spare time, she volunteers and just finished raising over $35,000 for the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger with the her son’s namesake event, Jack’s Chattanoggins (6/10/12).   You can keep up with continued efforts at Jack Shaves for Kids Cancer.  Since it’s inception in 2009, more than $58,000 has been raised on behalf of children battling cancer.

Dawn has also served as the Chair for the Mountain Arts Community Center (MACC) Foundation annual artist and craft show, Fall Hodgepodge, in Signal Mountain, TN (2010 & 2011).  Dawn chose this particular organization to support as a result of her love of the arts and her hobby as a jewelry designer.

One Response to Welcome

  1. Thank you for your post on Chattanooga State’s site. I would love to help on a volunteer basis with a local cause. I am a devout believer in the power of Social Media.

Summer break is fast approaching so let me know.

    Thank you again!
